Sometimes the simplest moments become the most touching.

For some reason, all children do this — they find a flower somewhere outside and give it to their mum. No one teaches them to do it. And I wanted to capture that moment.

This painting was born from that idea —

the small first gift a child gives to their mother. Sometimes it’s a daisy, sometimes a dandelion, sometimes just a blade of grass. But for a mother, it is always something very special.
